The Lemon Seeds band program is where students take the skills they’ve been practicing in their lessons and at home and start making music together – building real ensemble skills, real friendships, and real stage experience.
Lemon Drop-In Jam Sessions
New to music or not ready to commit to a full band? Start here.
Our Lemon Drop-Ins are low-pressure, high-fun, group sessions where students can show up, plug in, and play with other musicians in a no-commitment environment. We’ll give you one song to have ready so you’re not coming in blind. We’ll see what happens from there! Try it once or come every month – either way, you’ll leave with a smile.
Lemon Drop-Ins run monthly throughout the year and are open to the public. Schedule available here. Next Drop-In is Sunday, August 30th at 3:00 p.m.
Structured Bands
Ready to take it to the next level? This fall 2026, Lemon Seeds launches structured band groups – small ensembles that rehearse weekly, come up with a name, build a set list, and work toward a real concert performance.
Who it’s for
Lemon Drop-Ins are for anyone and everyone interested in seeing what it’s like to jam with other musicians.
The band program is open to all Lemon Seeds students who have been taking private lessons for at least 3 months. Not a student yet? Start with a free trial lesson and work your way up!
Pricing
Lemon Drop-Ins: $20/session
Bands: $195/month
Band pricing includes weekly 30-minute private lessons AND weekly 60-minute band rehearsals. Prorated for mid-month starts. A one-time $25 registration fee applies to new students.
